We are currently leveraging the power of social media. The majority of rosters and communications are done through our "Rucks 2 Pucks: Players Association" Facebook Group and Messenger Channels.
However, we have multiple veterans that are not on social media and we keep in close contact through e-mail and text messaging.

Most veteran organizations outline the qualifications for the veterans they serve differently. Two of the elements that are key to the effectiveness of our organization are camaraderie and shared experience. For that reason, our organization and its events are tailored to serve veterans that completed initial training and have been assigned a duty station. That’s it! We don’t require combat tours, disabilities, or even an honorable discharge.
The funds go directly to supporting the Rucks 2 Pucks mission. We have minimal overhead and have a target to spend 90% of donations to get veterans together and on the ice. Each major tournament also conducts fundraising for water, food, and equipment.
All of our staff is 100% volunteer and receives no financial compensation.

Our missions is aimed specifically at veterans, active duty, and reservists but we know there are unique cases where a civilian would like to skate with the team. If the skates have room and tourney teams have roster slots we can discuss arrangements for you to come out and skate. Contact us at info@rucks2pucks.com.
Yes! We are able to offer financial assistance or provide used equipment for veterans and their families. Email info@rucks2pucks.com and put "Gear Assistance Program" in the subject line. All assistance is give on a case-by-case basis and subject to approval from the Board of Directors.
